St Nectaire Laitier 7oz

Saint-Nectaire is a French cheese made in the Auvergne region of central France. Saint Nectaire is a pressed, uncooked cheese made from pasteurized milk from the Salers cow breed. It has an uncooked semi-firm, pressed, supple salted paste with a silky texture. Saint Nectaire Laitier has a flowery rind, with white, yellow, or red spots. It has a creamy chewy texture with mild nutty and sweet flavors. Maréchal de Sennecterre introduced St. Nectaire to Versailles when he served it at the table of Louis XIV, le Roi Soleil. It received the PDO label (Protected Designation of Origin) in 1955. 7oz
