It is a PDO product, Protected Designation of Origin. Bonat Farm creates this Italian excellence with good antique methods, and with only essential and genuine ingredients milk, fire, salt, and rennet. It takes 14 liters of milk for one kilo of Parmigiano-Reggiano.
Contains only 30% water and 70% nutrients: protein, vitamins, phosphorus, calcium, and minerals. Quickly digested and easily assimilated, it is indicated for people who are lactose intolerant and, the fat content in Parmigiano Reggiano is lower than most other cheeses.
