Alistados (striped) red shrimp from Huelva, Andalusia, Spain - extremely flavorful and beautifully striped red, they abound in the Gulf of Cádiz, facing the Atlantic Ocean on the southwestern end of Spain, near the Portuguese border. Their name derives from alternate deep red and white shades of their shells, making them look "striped". These shrimp have the particularity of having blue spots on their head. Living in deep-sea, they are harder to catch which makes them a precious and gourmet meal.
